The American Rimfire Association is a national organization who sets rules and keeps scores. Holton Gun and Bow Club holds shoots sanctioned by the ARA in the months of October through March. The ARA runs a web site that may be accessed by clicking here. Scoring results at HGaBC are submitted to ARA for inclusion in state and national rankings.

The event features 25 shots on multiple ARA custom targets at 50yd from benches 1 thru 5 on the small range. Contestants form into a max of 4 lines of 5 shooters.
A score sheet print off is stapled to the range bulletin board. Target stars will be presented to target winners and a match pin will be awarded to match winner at Club matches.
