The Precision Rifle Series (PRS) Rimfire Matches will introduce PRS to HG&BC in 2023. The dates/times are:
PRS is an organization to allow local/regional/national rankings for a unique style of shooting.
Rimfire PRS is growing quicker than centerfire due to the number of ranges that can host an event.
200-300yd ranges are ideal for rimfire.
Centerfire needs 800+yd which requires a fair bit of travel to compete.

It’s very easy to get a new shooter hooked and minimizing the barrier to entry is a goal.
Once involved many opportunities surface.
For example three Michigan shooters are representing the USA
as a member of PRS shooting team in Italy
this year from 8/28 to 9/3)
PRS Rimfire -- A Sanctioned Match at HG&BC permits any production 22LR rifle with magazine feed. The match has 10 Stages of shooting 10 rounds at multiple targets and distances of 10 to 300 yards in 90 second par time. (unique stage names are a thing… not sure where it started, but that has been the theme at any match I have ever shot) The Match Rules adopted for 2023 is found here. Registration begins at 8:00 A.M.
then shooters attend a
MANDATORY
safety meeting at 8:45 A.M.
Martch shooting starts after 9:00 A.M.
